What a powerful, humbling, bursting the pride moment for Safeguarding Children 👏

This week, our Children’s Commissioner Dr Claire Achmad championed safeguarding tamariki at the select committee, discussing our petition calling for:

✅ A full review of the Children’s Act.

✅ Mandatory child protection training for anyone working with children and young people.

✅ Child-Safe Organisational Standards.

✅ Mandatory Police Vetting and safe recruitment for ANYONE working or volunteering with children, not just those in receipt of government funding.
